These three photos are of our new "cat & dog proof"
floor. The edges are ceramic tiles that look and are shaped like wood "planks".
The middle of the
room is made up of individual 18" square commercial-grade
carpet tiles. These came in "assortment" cases and are easily removeable,
washable and/or
replaceable. We toyed with ordering them all one
color and will maybe do that in the future, but for now, we like the patchwork
quilt look. Paul used
1" X 6" pine sealed with spar varnish as the baseboard
where the tiles meet the bare wall. I didn't get a photo of that.
